Hi, this is Steve from Simple Office Solutions in Santa Rosa, California. Here in Sonoma County.
Have you ever received an error on your copy that says, ‘load paper’? Even though the paper is fully stocked on the copier? Well, chances are it’s because the copy has received a request for a paper that it does not have.
We usually see this in situations where people deal with other countries that have different paper sizes than the U.S. You’ll receive a PDF from a foreign company, possibly. And, when you to to print it, the copier says, “well, I don’t. I don’t have the kind of paper. You need to load it. ”
Well, there’s a real simple fix for that. And usually if it’s a PDF, there’s an option when you go to print that says choose paper sourced by PDF page size. If you uncheck this box. This will force the PDF into a standard size that the copier can handle.
Try the print job again and it should probably print 8.5×11 or whatever size paper would normally fit that document.
